Indigo Bananas-Alcatraz

Tonight, I have Indigo Bananas Alcatraz.  Now, I have tried on many a holo; but these babies by Indigo Bananas, really take the cake!  Application is literally PERFECT.  There is no dragging, it dries fast, it goes on smoothly.  I used two coats.
AND. THE. HOLO.  I mean what?  What more can I say?  Just stare at it.
Here she is in the shade.
And here she is under an Ott Light.
The macro makes me drool.

Full sized holos retail for $12 each and minis for $5.50.

Indigo Bananas-Cake Or Death!

Indigo Bananas made a scene in the indie polish community when she debuted her shop with show stopping duochromes and an in-your-face matte electric blue.
She has since come out with some linear holos that I was very curious about.
Tonight, I have for you a holo from her new collection called, "Cake Or Death."  I was curious if she would live up to the high standards I had come to expect from her last polishes. Considering how many indie brands have now come out with holo polishes, I was unsure how these would stand out.
All doubts were swiftly put aside when I put on Cake Or Death.  Cake or Death is a rose colored linear holo with very small black glitter in it.   YES. Glitter in a holo.  I have so much to say about this polish, I am unsure of where to begin...
First of all, application was FLAWLESS.  I do not use that word lightly. I rarely use it actually. Consistency was perfect.  There was no drag, no issues, nothing but putting on the polish and DONE.
I used two coats and a coat of Seche over the top.  As you can see by the photos, the linear is so strong, it rivals most Brazilian holos. Forget about comparing to indies. This blows them out of the water.
It dried quickly and top coat didn't mess with it. It lasted on my fingers for two days before I took it off. The holo in it is outstanding!   Personally, I could do without the glitter in it, but I understand why it is there.
It gives an added visual interest in the shade...  Notice you can see the glitter better here.  The glitter is so unobtrusive that you don't even notice it in the polish when you are putting it on.
Here is a photo in my light box.  The holo is less obvious, but still there.
Macro shot...
I am floored by Indigo Bananas amazing polishes!  She really goes above and beyond what is expected in a polish.  I wholeheartedly recommend buying from her!

Naild'It Unique Polish-Sugarmess Glum

To end out my reviews of Naild'It Unique Polish, I am going to spam you with a white crelly glitter bomb!
Sugarmess Glum is a white crelly base and is packed to the hilt with every glitter imaginable in purple, red, white, aqua, and holo!
Naild'It Unique Polish

I used 2-3 coats for opacity and it went on easily and the glitters spread well!  Quite a feat considering how much glitter I found in it!  Lets, see...there are hearts, hexes, diamonds, and large squares!  (Did I forget anything?!)
I love the combo of colors in Sugarmess Glum-I never would have thought to put aqua, pink, red and purple all together-but somehow it really works!
I used a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite to smooth it out.
There were so many different types of glitters in here that I took a macro shot of four of my nails!

Naild'It Unique Polish-Salmon Run

As I get to the end of my Naild'It Unique Polishes that I was sent to review, I am a little sad. I WANT MOAR!  Hahaha.  I am always thrilled to be able to review for Naild'It.  They may not always be perfect, but I know I am getting something made by an artistic genius.
Tonight, I have the last of the holo polishes.
Salmon Run is a pink-leaning red with a scattered holo.  I used two coats and application was excellent. I had no issues and the formula was neither too thick nor too thin. This first picture is in the sun.
This is Salmon Run in the shade.

Naild"It Unique Polish-Strawfairy Blossom (smelly polish)

It has been a beautiful sunny past several days here in sunny California!  For that reason, I felt like putting on something bright and pretty!  Naild'It Unique Polish StrawFairy Blossom was just the perfect polish for my mood.
StrawFairy Blossom is a scented polish, and my bottle was labeled as such on the bottom.  "(Smelly polish)" was written on the bottom of my label.  I am unsure if there is an unscented version as well for those who are sensitive to smelly polishes, but hopefully there is!
StrawFairy Blossom rose to the top of my favorites out of this collection that Naild'It has put out.  I am a sucker for bright pinks and adding white glitter certainly helps!  It also has pink hearts and pink flowers as well.  This is girly to the max!
I am not even a girly girl, but I am all about this polish!  It went on easily in two coats and the smaller glitters came out readily.  The larger glitters needed to be fished out, but that is normal in my opinion, and wasn't a big deal to me.
I had no issues and plan on wearing this again very soon!  Talk about feeling pretty in a polish!
Here is a macro shot, and you can see the flower glitter in there!

Naild'It Unique Polish- Purp...Excuse Me!

When Andrea from Naild'It Unique Polish sent me some of her new collection to review, Purp...Excuse  Me! immediately jumped out at me as the possible stand out in the collection!
I have a huge love for large circle glitter-I just wish they weren't all in a milky white base.  Purp...Excuse Me!  gives me what I have been waiting for!
Purp...Excuse Me! is a sheer-but build able-black base with purple, fuchsia, pink, and aqua glitter in different sizes. (I may have forgotten a color or two!)  The large holo circles are what sets it apart from the rest.
In these first pictures, I layered it over black, because I wasn't sure if the base would build up. (It does.)
I layered one coat of Purp...Excuse Me! over black and had no issues with the glitters. Even the circles came out readily!
On my other hand, I used Purp...Excuse Me!  on its own.  Here is where application was interesting.  I used three coats, and it layered well as long as you wait a bit between coats.  After three coats, it looked a bit of a mess on my fingers.  I didn't like what I saw, but I put a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite over it, and it smoothed everything right out!
With the layering, you get more depth of glitter layers.  I have noticed that with jelly glitters, it is hard to get the tips of the fingers good enough, and in pictures, my hands look like they have tip wear on my brand new manicure!  Do you know what I am talking about?  So here is what I did... I used black nail polish and I dabbed it on the tips before I started my manicure and that is what you see in these pictures!
I think I prefer the one layer over black for the simplicity of the manicure.
Purp...Excuse Me!  over black.
Purp...Excuse Me!  three coats on its own.

Naild'It Unique Polish-Abyss Kiss

Tonight, I have Naild'It Unique Colors Abyss Kiss.  It is more of a lavender holo than last night's Eeky Ink, which was a deep purple.
Application was great!  I used two coats and had no issues.  I followed with a coat of Seche Vite.  I noticed that you could even see remnants of the holo in the shade!
And here is Abyss Kiss under an Ott Light.
