Here you see two coats of DSTP. I used no base coat for this. It is opaque enough that it isn't necessary! DSTP looks just like the sandy desert of Saudi Arabia. How Cynthia from Alter Ego pulled that one off, I'll never know! It's not exactly a place you go to for a vacation. Nevertheless, it certainly reminded me of it. It is gritty and sandy looking and the perfect shades of gold and brown.
DSTP applied fairly thickly, but was not hard to handle. I used two coats and did not need to manipulate any glitters. My favorite part of this glitter is the coppery gold hexes! They are so beautiful against the browns.
I just had to matte something with a name like this. I wanted to see how close it looked to sand. Personally, I think it looks more beautiful than sand.
Gorgeous isn't it?

Love this so much!
Ooh, I like this polish! Subtle and sandy, but still rich and shimmery, and the texture looks so seriously lush. :D
